About CSM : communications | sponsorship | marketing
CSM Communications has specialized in producing and promoting high-impact television programs and associated live events for the past 20 years.
CSM is one of America’s top production consultants and producers of reality, documentary, music and action-adventure programming and has been instrumental in producing programs for a number of television programs airing in the US and internationally on networks including A&E, CBS, FOX Sports, FOX, ESPN, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, MSNBC, Nickelodeon, TLC, ESPN2, National Geographic, Travel Channel and most recently LINK TV.
Our work takes us to many international locations where, as part of CSM’s commitment to the countries that host various programs, we organize specialized media tours that bring enormous exposure to the countries and provide sizeable benefits in economic development and sustainable expansion.
CSM believes in universally accessible tourism, with the aim of contributing to economic development, international understanding, peace, prosperity and universal respect for, and observance of, human rights and fundamental freedoms. In pursuing this aim, CSM pays particular attention to the interests of developing countries in the field of tourism.
CSM’s latest initiative in creating and filming World Music Festivals across the globe in partnership with the host countries, and in celebration of the United Nations 60th Anniversary in 2005 is a further reflection of this commitment. We completed the first South Pacific World Music Festival in Fiji in November, 2004 and are expanding the series to different countries around the world including Cape Verde, Madagascar, Mongolia, Brazil, Malaysia/Borneo and in North America. Performers from these festivals will be invited to participate in the United Nations 60th Anniversary celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall in London, October 16, 2005.
As part of this world music initiative we mentor filmmakers from the various host countries, providing them with the opportunity to gain advanced skills and international credits that may not otherwise have been able to achieve. The resultant footage is used to produce documentaries for international broadcast and for promotional purposes by the host countries.
Owner Lori Hall demonstrates this focus on international cooperation as a consulting member of the United Nations Forum on Sustainable Development. She has been given the rare honor of speaking before the United Nations' committee, describing her philosophy and company's activities - and how they can have a positive impact on partner nations.
